YES, THE ONE IN THE HAT, WITH THE ORANGE LEI...THAT'S ME - CHUBS!  AND THIS..................YEH,....THIS IS ME NOW!                                                                                        

  It's been well over 7 years ago (now), I lost my job (as an Office Mgr) and with that experience, I also lost my self-esteem. After multiple interviews that went nowhere, filing for bankruptcy, a long and lonely bout with depression, added weight gain, ...I found myself watching a lot of TV (mostly Dr. Oz) and eating a lot of junk food...until one day, while watching Dr. Oz, I realized how pathetic I was (comparing myself to his other guests) and how much I needed to kick myself in the ass for allowing time to slip by and doing NOTHING. I knew I had the power and the resources to do something about it, all I needed was the MOTIVATION.  I knew no one was going to help me do it..I HAD TO DO IT FOR MYSELF.

So, one day I decided to get off the couch, throw away the Mickey D's,  and write down a list of goals. I figured it was a start! If I had a list, I had a place to begin...This list included a change of attitude for one. I knew I couldn't get anything accomplished if I remained depressed.   I had to eliminate all the "negative" from my life which was bringing me down.. I also decided that being an Office Manager was not the right career for me any more since it was never what I wanted to be. I needed to be physically active and do something that made me happy and something that I could do to help other people...Becoming a Personal Trainer was next on my list. therefore, enrolling in school and getting that degree and certification was very important..Losing weight of course had to part of my plan and being happy was going to be the bottom line but the main accomplishment of all these goals. 

Now granted, knowing that I had to get rid of a lot of the "negative" influences that were in my life,  took a toll on me because I had to realize that some of the people I called "friends" were not really my friends and even some of my own family members that did not support me or my position in life or what I believed in were a very real and negative force in my life and I had to either CUT them out completely or limit their time in my life and learn to shut them out so that I could be happy and continue with my own successes. Some people may call that SELFISH and to a certain extent it may be, but in order to continue with my path of happiness this was something that I learned needed to be done because these "negative influences" were just bringing me down due to their own unhappiness and insecurities and it was not something that I wanted to have in my life. 

Another area of my life that I had to change was with prescriptions that were hurting me and my continued efforts in weight loss. Doctors love to pacify your symptoms of depression and pain with pills but never find out where the problem comes from to begin with and heal you without prescriptions, especially since there are side effects. This I had to do on my own as well. People may look at me and think, you dont understand, but YES I DO..I've been there, and I can help you!!  

 HERE I AM TODAY, IN THE BEST SHAPE OF MY LIFE...HAPPIER, HEALTHIER....AND READY TO TAKE ON THE WORLD...NOW I WANT TO HELP PEOPLE LIKE ME WHO JUST NEED THAT EXTRA BOOST!!! THE EXTRA MOTIVATION TO GET THERE!!  ALL YOU NEED IS TO BELIEVE YOU CAN DO IT, ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVITY AND HAVE THE WANT AND THE DESIRE TO GET THERE AND WITH MY HELP, WE CAN GET YOU THERE, I PROMISE!!

 I am a Certified Private Personal Trainer, Bootcamp/Bodyshred Instructor and Nutritional Specialist. I train out of my home as well as my clients homes so all training is "private" and "personal" one-on-one training with no distractions!! I give each client my full attention and after a complete Fitness Test and interview, I create a workout routine that is customized to their individual needs and together we create a workout schedule that works for the both of us. I also test and remeasure the clients on a month to month basis to see how well they are doing and give them a copy of the results as well as a take home evaluation form to complete and return regarding how they feel I am doing with their process. This helps both of us in future work together.
